The Programme

The Campus Technology Internship Programme – CTIP is aimed at recruiting and training bright and interested students from various disciplines who have abilities to leverage ICT, engineering and applied science to work on projects that develop and support the infrastructure within their institution and impact on the wider society through challenge-driven education methodologies for problem-based learning.

Develop the skills and potential of interested students to apply technology in projects that solve societal problems and enhance entrepreneurship skills

Development of makerspaces on campus operated as a multidisciplinary effort between Engineering, Computer Science and Business disciplines

Identify skilled and motivated students that can work with their institution’s ICT team and support in the operation and management of ICT infrastructure

The University Faculty, ICT Unit, and Eko-Konnect will collaborate in the management of the program and training of recruited interns. The CTIP aims to be gender-sensitive with its recruitment and policy formulations. The selected interns are expected to commit about 2hrs per day in each working week to CTIP program activities.
