The CTIP hosted a remote participation hub for the Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) 105 meeting which took place from 20 – 26 July 2019 in Montreal, Canada.
The IETF is the premier Internet standards body, developing open standards through open processes to make the Internet work better. The IETF is a large open international community of network designers, operators, vendors, and researchers concerned with the evolution of the Internet architecture and the smooth operation of the Internet.
The CTIP students participated in the session; Software updates for Internet of Things. Special thanks, to WACREN CTO and Internet Society John Postel Awardee, Mr Alain Aina for engaging the students on the IETF mission, working groups, areas, and joining the IETF Africa community.
